The Campaign Books will be available in the following format. There will be one Campaign Rulebook describing how to run these historical campaigns, then each individual campaign will be structured as a short book of its own. The initial offering will cover seven campaigns from history, including the one using the map shown above (Caesar’s Gallic Wars). Each individual campaign will include historical context, army lists, and three different sizes of campaigns: small (6-8 players), medium (10-14 players), and large (16-24 players).
The initial offering will include the following campaigns:
Bronze Age Collapse (Sea Peoples Invasion and the Collapse of 1200 BC)
Viking Fury (Viking Raiders and the British Isles)
Caesar's Gallic Wars (Roman Conquest of Gaul, 58 BC)
Fourth War of the Diadachoi (Wars of Alexander's Successors, 308-301 BC)
Mittelalterliches Deutschland (High Medieval Germany, 1425 AD)
God Wills It! (First Crusade, 1097-1120 AD)
Mandate of Heaven (Warring States China, 260 BC)
All campaign books include three large color campaign maps (one for each size of campaign). In addition, high-res images of the maps will be available electronically for a nominal fee ($1 for a single map, or $2 for all three maps from a single campaign book) to support players who want to use various technologies for printing on cloth or other surfaces to create large campaign maps for their campaigns.
In the near future we intend to publish another dozen or more campaign books after the seven mentioned above; we have 15 or so worked through (over and above the initial seven) based upon campaigns that we have run in the past.
The first seven books are done save for cover and interior art and final editing; we hope to start making them available early in 2026.
